Anywhere, Everywhere

It feels like destiny when Amy Rhodes, an aspiring journalist, and Patrick Meadows, a fashion photographer, are paired together on assignment. They both know this relationship will be an uphill climb, and yet, they plunge in headfirst anyways.

While Patrick’s career blossoms in the art lofts of Paris, Amy steadily works on a story that leads to her being embedded with a platoon in the Middle East. Their bond, once made during walks along the Grand Canyon and candlelit dinners, turns fragile over static-filled phone calls. The tenuous connections that keep them together are the same ones that threaten to tear them apart.

Something has to give, either their careers or their relationship. They both wait for the other to blink.

This is a story about finding connection, the limits of technology, deleterious daydreams, marshmallow eating competitions, explosives robots, and love.
